Nothing says “I appreciate you” like a great loaf of bread that took three days to make. At Sentinel Family Farm, every sourdough loaf is made to order, baked fresh, and customized just the way you like it. We don’t rush the process, because real sourdough can’t be rushed.
Each baker has their own recipe, rhythm, and method — and every sourdough starter carries its own personality and flavor, so we encourage customers to try different bakers and discover the sourdough style that they love most!
Our Philosophy:
Sourdough should only ever have three ingredients:
- Flour
- Salt
- Water
At Sentinel Family Farm, our sourdough features organic, unbleached flour which avoids the chemical bleaching process that most flours go through. No preservatives. No additives. Nothing extra.
Our Process:
- Sourdough starter fed and used at its peak rise
- Hand stretched and folded four times
- Slowly bulk fermented
- Cold fermented for 24 hours to develop flavor and digestibility
- Baked in a Dutch oven for a crispy crust and a soft interior
Real sourdough, naturally leavened and made with care. Baked using traditional methods and meant to be shared — at your table, with your people, making memories along the way.
