Our sourdough starter is a living culture, carefully maintained and shared from our farm to your kitchen. Made with unbleached organic all-purpose flour (organic hard red wheat and organic malted barley only), this starter brings depth of flavor, natural fermentation, and time-honored tradition to your baking.
Whether you’re starting fresh or baking right away, we offer two options to fit your baking needs:
Dehydrated Sourdough Starter
- Perfect for gifting, shipping, or bakers who enjoy the process from the very beginning.
- 15-gram package, enough to revive a starter three times
- Shelf-stable and easy to store
- Takes approximately 5 days of active feeding to awake the cultures before it is ready for baking
- Includes clear, step-by-step revival and care instructions
Active Sourdough Starter
- 50-grams of active starter, for those ready to bake sooner
- Ready to use within 12 hours
- Ideal for immediate baking or maintaining your own starter at home
- Includes care and feeding instructions to keep it thriving
Please note: This active starter must either be maintained (fed) or refrigerated immediately.

This starter is a simple, honest foundation for naturally fermented bread — no additives, no shortcuts, only flour and water. Just add the time and care to make something beautiful!
FUN FACT: Like most sourdough starters, ours was conceived during COVID. While it is currently an Oregon resident, it was born and raised in Kodiak, Alaska and has been seen making delicious sourdough loaves all over the United States to include Key West, Florida!
